IT ALL COMES BACK TO YOU WITH TEXAS RECYCLES DAY!

Texas Recycles Day (TRD) takes place annually Nov. 15, and raises public awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of recycling. This year's theme is "It All Comes Back to You". The Recycling Alliance of Texas is motivating Texans to make recycling part of their everyday lives by practicing the 4 R's – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rebuy.

Keep Cuero Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful, sponsor of TRD, will collect used cell phones from now until Jan. 2008. Profits from the used cell phones will be used for beautification projects by KCB in the community.

Collection boxes are located at the Cuero Chamber of Commerce, 124 E. Church St., and Cuero Record office, 119 E. Main St. For more information, contact the Cuero Chamber, 275-2112.
