ARE YOU BRANDING YOUR BUSINESS?

When you use the word branding people may think of hot iron and cattle. While true in some cases, there is another type of branding. Business branding. It can be a helpful tool to market your business. While there are many definitions for branding, here is one...

"A brand is a collection of perceptions in the mind of the consumer." ~ www.buildingbrands.com

An example of an easily identifiable brand is Nike. Nike has marketed their brand so extensively that they no longer identify their company name in writing. The use the swoosh symbol to represent their "brand". People automatically associate that symbol with the Nike company and the quality merchandise they produce. www.nike.com

Are you doing all you can to build your company brand? While developing a brand remember to differentiate yourself from other competitors in the market. Also, branding is more than a symbol. It is the whole consumer experience. Strive to provide the highest quality and service to your consumers allowing them to see your brand as an overall positive experience.
