Overview of PC Maintenance and Security:

• Physical care of the computer, monitor and mouse cleaning, environment and power management.
• Maintenance of the hard drive - scandisk, clean disk, defragment and maintenance scheduling.
• Security information - system restore point, backups, passwords and updates.
• Threats & solutions - firewall, lockdown on wireless, viruses and anti-virus software, Trojan horses, worms, spam, hijacking and phishing.
• Extra care areas - popups, spyware and attachments.
