Lighting Projects Completed
Two of the Cuero Development Corporation's Capital Projects have come to
completion. The second soccer field lighting project was finished in time for
the current youth soccer season. This lighting project was a collaborative
effort as a result of funding by the Cuero Development Corporation and labor
provided by the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of Cuero. The CDC
hopes that the improvements to these facilities will attract additional youth
sport events and tournaments to Cuero.
Another lighting project completed is the Cuero Commercial Historic District
lighting project. Phase 1 of the Commercial Historic District lighting project,
Main Street, was completed in 2002. Phases II, III & IV, Church, Courthouse and
Gonzales Streets within the district have been in progress since then. All
remaining phases of the project have been completed.
