The Cuero Development Corporation’s Small Business Loan Program’s latest participant is Barbecue Station

The Small Business Loan Program is available to businesses within a four mile radius of Cuero. Applicants can receive a maximum of $25,000 at an interest rate below prime. Funds may be spent on equipment, real estate, leasehold improvements, and more. To date $414,850 has been loaned to a variety of businesses.

Owner of Barbecue Station, Bobby Jones explains that the restaurant has been in his family since 1982, but the restaurant goes back even further having been in operation since 1976.

Located at 114 S. Esplanade, Barbecue Station provides catering for any event and offers a menu including: brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, and stuffed baked potatoes. Also, there is always a great selection of desserts and side dishes. They are open Monday–Saturday 10 a.m. — 3 p.m.

Currently they are working on plans to remodel restrooms and resurface the floors. Also, extended hours are planned and will be announced mid–summer. Plans are also in the works to extend the menu!

If you have questions about their menu or catering services please contact them at 361–277–3417. Stop by and check out the latest business to take advantage of the Small Business Loan Program. If you have questions about the program, please give the Cuero Development Corporation a call at 361–275–8178.
