Serving as President since 2001, he leads the community’s effort to attract new industry as well as retain and expand existing industry in the area. Dale works closely with local, state, and federal officials to promote business in Victoria and the region. He maintains a three-member staff and reports to a 17-member Board of Directors comprised of both public and private community business leaders.
He received his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree with a concentration in business and marketing from the University of Houston – Victoria and graduated from the University of Oklahomarsquo;s Economic Development Institute. Dale is a Certified Economic Developer with the International Economic Development Council and maintains membership in the Texas Economic Development Council where he currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. Dale has recently been appointed by the Comptroller to serve on the newly created Economic Incentive Oversight Board. His service to the community also includes being a member of the Golden Crescent Work Force Development Board, serving on the Board of Directors of The Victoria Main Street Program, and volunteering as a deputy Sheriff for the Victoria County Sheriffrsquo;s office and as a member of the Sheriffrsquo;s office SWAT team.
Dale resides in Victoria with his wife Dana. Their youngest daughter is an RN in Victoria, and their eldest daughter resides in Austin and works in the tech industry.
