University of Houston-Victoria Small Business Development Center Director Lindsay Young

Lindsay Young is the Director of the University of Houston-Victoria, Small Business Development Center. Before becoming the center’s Director, she served as a Senior Business Advisor for six years and as the center’s Finance and Operations Manager for a year and a half. She has been a valued member of the UHV-SBDC team since 2011.

Prior to her time at SBDC, Lindsay worked in banking and in mortgage brokering. She has a strong banking background in areas such as retail, compliance, risk management, anti-money laundering and fraud.

Lindsay is a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development. In 2013 she received her Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Management, from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Lindsay, her husband Dale, and their seven-year-old triplets live in Victoria, Texas.

Ms. Young will be the guest speaker at the March 1st Community Leaders’ Meeting at the Cuero Public Library at 7:30 a.m.
