Anthony Netardus – DeWitt County Extension Agent-Agriculture, Texas A&M
Anthony Netardus was born and raised on a dairy farm in Jourdanton, Texas where he also graduated high school in 1986. Upon completion of high school, Netardus later graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. He received his Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Science from Texas A&M University Kingsville. Mr. Netardus married Jennifer on July 10, 1993 and together they have four children. The start of his career was at Tyson Foods in Center, Texas where he was a production line supervisor; he would later transition into the Assistant County Agriculture Agent for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in January, 1993 in Bowie, Texas. During his employment with Texas A&M AgriLife, Mr. Netardus was transferred to Cuero in 1995 where he has been the DeWitt County Agriculture Agent.
Mr. Netardus will be the guest speaker at the February 2nd Community Leaders’ Meeting at Cuero Municipal Library at 7:30 a.m.
