Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Club of DeWitt County on the July 14th, 2021 opening of their brand-new, state-of-the-art #STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) center! This is an incredibly valuable resource for our county’s youth to provide them hands-on experience with skills and tools to build on the present and take them into the future! Thanks to a partnership between Devon Energy and the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of DeWitt County now has its own state-of-the-art STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Center! The STEM Center includes high-tech tools such as: Code Hoppers, Snap Circuits, Bee-Bots, Ozobots, 3D printer, and more. We are thrilled to offer these tools to our members and are eager to watch them grow through hands-on learning. This STEM Center will have a lasting impact on children, families, and the entire community.

On Wednesday, July 14, there was a ribbon cutting and celebration. Thank you to Devon Energy and the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation for making this possible. We’d also like to thank Laura Haley Photography for capturing this special day to us.
