Cuero Development Corporation Board of Directors & Staff 2021-2022

Appointed by the City Council, the seven (7) member board serves at the pleasure of the City Council. Three (3) of the seven (7) directors cannot be employees, officers or members of the city’s governing body. All members are appointed for a two (2) year term and must meet residency requirements.

CDC Board Members

Tyler McClellan, President | Term: Expires 2023
Tyler is a 2004 Cuero High School graduate and a 2007 University of Texas-Austin graduate. He is a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Downtown Cuero. He is married to Melissa, a school teacher, and has two children, Addison and Austin.

Greg Freeman, Vice President | Term: Expires 2023
Greg is the General Manager at Ful-O-Pep in Cuero. He is married to Amanda Gossett Freeman and has 2 children, Callie and Collin. Greg has 20 years of business experience in sales, management, and operations.

David A. Scott, Secretary/Treasurer | Term: Expires 2022
David and his wife, Lori Reuss Scott, moved to Cuero in September of 2012, as Lori has deep family roots that date back to the founding of Cuero. David is a Financial Advisor and a Certified Public Account with over 38 years of business experience. Motorcycle riding and golf are two of David’s passions that he enjoys when he is not working.

Sara Post Meyer, Mayor of Cuero | Term: Expires 2022
Sara is a retiree of Cuero Independent School District, a former Executive Director of the Cuero Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, and a community volunteer. She was first elected Mayor of Cuero in 2010.

Lynn Falcone | Term: Expires 2024
Lynn moved to Cuero in 2016 to take on the role of CEO of Cuero Regional Hospital. Lynn has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare administration. Lynn also serves on the TORCH Board and the AHA Rural Health Services Committee. Lynn and her husband Jeff have to daughters, Kelsey and Kyra.

Brian Gomez | Term: Expires 2023
Brian was born and raised in Cuero, graduated from Cuero High School in 1993 and Texas A&M University in 1998 with a degree in Biomedical Science. He is our local State Farm insurance agent. He is married to Linda, a physical therapist, and has two children, Elena and Elias.

Randy Jochim | Term: Expires 2023
Randy and his wife Sylvia are the owners/operators of McDonald’s restaurant in Cuero. Originally from Indiana, Randy is the champion of the 2015 World Series of Cuero Annual Chamber of Commerce fundraiser.

Richard Weber | Term: Expires 2022
Richard is employed by Weber Motor Company, a family-owned and operated Ford Dealership since 1937. He is married to his wife Nikki, and has three daughters, Hannah, Madelyn and Audrey. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Texas-Austin.

Charles W. Papacek, President | Term: Expires 2019
Charles is retired from the Hospital Products Division of Abbott Laboratories. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cuero Community Hospital.

Dennis Jemelka, Vice President | Term: Expires 2019
Dennis has been married to Dawn Klaevemann for 31 years and they have three children, all graduates of Texas A&M University. He has been with Allied Feeds Inc. for 30 years, and Dawn teaches math at St. Michael’s School.

Christopher Crain | Term: Expires 2021
Christopher has been an attorney with Crain & Sheppard in Cuero, Texas since 1994. He is married to Jill Crain and has four active children.
